I have a Rev A Macbook Air refurb. I got it just over a month ago. According to iStat and CoconutBattery the health is 95%.

Coconut says:
  • Current Battery Capacity: 95%
  • Current Battery Capacity: 4871 mAh
  • Original Battery Capacity: 5090 mAh
  • Battery-Loadcycles: 5
Is that within spec? Seems odd that after 5 cycles I lost 5%. When I got the thing, at 0 cycles I believe it was even at 97% health. Are refurb batteries covered?

Thanks.

My 7-day-old refurb (also a rev. A) is exactly the same. 5 cycles and about 95% health.

I suppose that doesn't really help you but it doesn't seem abnormal.
