Moving iTunes Library To New Computer

The situation is this ....

We have a dead computer.

The iTunes Folder from that computer was copied onto an external disk last week.

The new computer is here and we want THAT library onto the new computer.

Could I simply delete the iTunes folder from the new computer and copy the iTunes folder from the old computer over to the new??

Or is there a 'better' way.
