On vacation, can I upgrade to 3.0?

I'm jailbroken on 2.2.1 right now. I'm on vacation and away from my synched computer for the next month but I have my laptop. Can I update to 3.0 or will I lose all my apps/music etc....?

And just to confirm, I don't have to restore in order to update correct? Just let itunes apply 3.0 and that'll get me back to factory settings?

edit: I'm not worried about re-jail-breaking right now. I'd rather have factory 3.0 than jailbroken 2.2.1
 
Update can do no problem.

Apps will restore as long as you authorise the computer and do a backup before updating.

Music - not so sure about as it resides in your iTunes library so you may lose that...
 
I updated mine from a different computer and didnt loose a thing other than my jailbreak. 😎
