Why does my avatar look different in my CP?

I recently made a custom avatar and after uploading it and setting it as my avatar i've noticed that it looks different than what actually shows up when I post. Specifically the text at the bottom ... Anyone know why?

I did it this morning ... but maybe things are a little overloaded today due to 3.0. I'll be a little more patient.
