Hey was just wondering if anyone got that deal, its available to people who work at O2 and places such as Mcdonalds etc. I've got one of these "open codes" and I'm gunna go try and buy tomorow, but just wanted to hear from anyone who has already done this. Thanks!

Did anyone get the O2 open code 30% off line rental deal on their new 3GS?

My employer is signed up to this - we only get the deal on the 3G, not the 3GS.
I'm currently weighing up the cost saving of going for the 3G vs the speed and new features of plumping for the 3GS.

My understanding is that everyone is still being told it's 3G, rather than 3GS only. At some point it'll apply to the 3GS, but not yet.
However, I do know one person who was able to talk O2 customer services into giving them it on a 3GS on release day.
