I know you are going to hate me for this, but is there a free online way to learn to program?

I've always been interested in programing, but I never could find something that would help me learn code or anything.

Best bet is to buy a book for $50. A cheap investment in the long run in my opinion.

I put "introduction programming free online course" into Google and this came up first on the list. Will that work?

Try your local public library. Mine has hundreds of books on learning to program.

Free for the borrowing.
