Thruy a tethering application in Cydia. But its not worth it as you will confined to EDGE service only has the 3G radio on the iPhone 3G is incompatible with the radio frequency at wish T-Mobile has setup its 3G network.
 
Edge is better than no internet... 🙂

I want to know how to get "native" tethering without the app... I know I saw the procedure for setting it up somewhere around here.
