OS X community like JUG for Java

Are there local user groups for Mac development like the JUG's for java developers?

How can I find others interested in Mac development (Obj-C, Java, etc) in my community of Albuquerque? I'm already trying to contact the JUG and Ruby UG.

Thank you,
Doug

There are general Mac User Groups, but i don't know about ones specific to programming. The one that looked most promising in your area was:
http://www.applequerque.org/join/join.html

But this doesn't say if programming is discussed, or just general mac usage.

Otherwise, it seems like participating in online communities like this one would be your best bet.

The nearest chapter of CocoaHeads appears to be in Colorado Springs or Phoenix, but you can try starting your own.
