Memory & G3 iBook 500

Is there a way to make a g3 ibook 500 dual usb to recognize more memory than 640mb. I have already made a hard drive upgrade from 10GB to 80GB and damn its awesome just want more memory in it.

I just checked Crucial.com, and found out that the 500 MHz G3 iBook won't accept the new 1 GB RAM sticks, so there isn't a way to expand the memory beyond 640 MB, unfortunately.
