Can you jailbrake the itouch 2nd gen?

My old itouch 1st gen got enough water damage to stop working. It was jailbroken, and im wondering if the new 2nd gen can be. Its probably a stupid question, but I was wondering. Thanks!

yes, check out redsn0w by the dev team. it can be JBed on 3.0 and on 2.2.1.

Like the first poster said, yes. Check out redsn0w.com OR quickpwn.com for a jailbreak tool download and go ahead and jailbreak it.
