i have the iphone 3gs, is it possible to listen to respond to a text message and still listen to pandora?

With the new speed in the 3G S, jailbreaking to allow backgrounding might finally not make the iPhone crawl to a slow halt.

That's actually something to look forward to. Right now on the 3G the 3.0 Backgrounder app works but not too well. That beta task manager is no longer available... 🙁

I *am* going to jailbreak my 3G S, but only for that the grip notification program, as thats a seriously cool piece of software. Backgrounding, eh. We will see.

That is one of the things I could do on the Pre (when I had it).

I loved this from my Pre...to bad it was on Sprint otherwise I would have kept the Pre.
