Chances are, no. The store may have an Apple table setup, but it's not an actual Apple Retail Store with Apple's own technicians and stuff.
If you don't have a "real" Apple Retail Store nearby, you can call 1-800-APL-CARE and they should be able to help out.
(And if you do have a real store nearby, don't forget to reserve a free appt. for the Genius Bar online before you go in!!!! The Genius Bars are busy!)

Have you actually ever sent anything into Apple for a simple repair before?
The only reason I ask is because when I did, I called them Monday early afternoon, they had a box (for me to put my laptop in) overnighted to me by the next morning. I used my notebook during the day Tuesday, dropping it off at DHL Tuesday night. They got it, fixed it, and shipped it back Wednesday. I received it Thursday morning.
From Tuesday afternoon to Thursday morning, it wasn't even gone 48 hours.
