If I get an iPhone I plan to place the dock near my PC in order to sync the unit.
I will be using the device as my everyday wakeup alarm and therefore will need a way to charge the device while i am asleep. Right now I have USB chargers where i need them. What are my options should i purchase an iPhone?
i.e. >USB>30 pin adaptors........additional stand alone 30 pin chargers, etc.

Related....what is a good aftermarket source for quality charging accessories other than Apple?
Thank you!

It comes with a charger, but you'll want a second iPod/iPhone cable so you can leave one plugged into your computer.

I didn't see a 12V car adapter on the apple store site.....
What about charging options for the car?

If it's a cable it should be fine, some third party chargers and docks might not work too well. Make sure anything you buy says made for iPhone on it.

Edit:
My girlfriend drives a WV the iPod connector doesn't charge the iPhone. You get a warning telling you that the accessory is not compatible. Give your current stuff a try and see if it works.

Don't have an iPhone yet.

Does it harm this type of battery to leave the phone in the charger overnight every night? I pretty much get it down under 50% everyday (most times more) and I charge it up for about 7 hours every night...
Thank you for any information about this...
