hey, i downloaded the windows 7 RC (the 7100 one) and cant seem to burn the iso to a dvd and boot. i download from microsoft and i try and burn with disc utility. it seems to go well, but after burning the verification always cancels halfway through. do i need special dvds? am i burning the iso wrong? i would really like to boot camp my mbp with 7. thanks in advance

i put the burn speed at 4x last time i did it. should i go to 2?
im at work, so i dont remember, but i'm pretty much positive they are maxwell dvd-r

I haven't been able to make a bootable disc even at 4x either. In the end I ran the setup from within Vista and just pointed it to a fresh partition.

My .iso burned flawlessly as well... no issues

Edit: used Disk Utility

I also used Disk Utility for mine and it worked the first time.

Strange thing, when I used Toast, Boot Camp did not recognize it.

I used Toast to burn the Win7 iso and "toasted" aka coaster-ed 2 DVD's. Used Disk Utilities and it was done flawlessly.
