I wanted to start this thread as a resource, a listing notable small-time software publishers for OS X. Some of the small developers have more innovative or useful tools, utilities, etc than Apple has produced. This thread has the potential to become an invaluable resource to OS X users.

what do you use konfabulator for?
really, i just think its a shameful waste of hard drive space, only somewhat remotely useful widget is dumb ol Clarus walking around all over my screen.
