If you are in the military or a veteran you can get a discount when you buy a imac or any computer or software. I was shopping one day and had on my "Seabee hat" and an employee came up to me and asked if I knew about the military id. I didn't but now I do. In fact I purchased my mac 15 days before and went back to the Apple Store and they gave me the discount on the mac. I think its about 8% for apple and about 4 % for others

I was skimming other sites researching about the military discount, and while none came out and said it, many implied that it could also apply to purchases besides iMacs, i.e. iPods and iPhones...? Does anyone know if this is true? I did a quick search of Apples site and couldn't find any discounts outside of the education and developer programs.

It would be great if i could combine my education discount and my dads military discount... 😀

Nope. One discount only.

If you truly qualify, you can get the discount on the monthly plan.

Yeah i know but it be awesome if it did work like that

I am getting the monthly plan discount when i get my iPhone 😀

wow! And do veterans count as well?

My dad was in the Vietnam War and he has always said, "I bet we can get some kind of a discount" every time we have bought a computer from apple. This will make him happy haha
