Color Coded Battery Monitor... new?

Is it just me, or did the 10.3.4 update add color to my battery monitor? Before it was just black until it got down in the 20%s or so and it turned red. Now it goes from green to yellow to orange to red as the battery gets lower.
 
ummmm it does? i was using mine last night and i noticed it being red around 25% or so, but no other colours
 
I am using ShapeShifter, so maybe that's it. Although, I'm almost positive that it wasn't until I upgraded to 10.3.4 that it went full color.

Maybe I just didn't see it before. 😱

At least the capacity to add colors is there, and I like it better than the black and red so maybe Apple will be adding it in future revisions.
