Any screen improvements on the early '09 MBP compared to the late '08 models?

MBP13 got a nice screen quality bump compared to the ubMB.... but what about the 15" MBP? Any noticeable improvements? Or was that Apple's way of making MBP13 more pro?

I think there's a higher contrast on the new display.

The mid-2009 Macbook Pros got 60% more color gamut in their screens.

so is the screen still as accurate if not better out of the box with no calibration?
