It's been awhile since I've messed with film for a electrical device....

but totally familiar with PPF film, ventureshield, 3m etc, etc.

Between the BSE or Bodyguardz, which film is more *thinner*.
Film does come in various thickness, orange peel, clearcoat, etc...
 
I actually contacted BSE about this just out of curiosity and its .2mm
I bought the BSE and was VERY satisfied with it...
A tip when applying the back: do the "flat" part (the largest surface) first and squeegee out all the water and air, wait 20 minutes, and then put the sides on. They stick well if they are completely dry, and since they are so close to the surface there is little resistance to rubbing out any bubbles that may form due to lack of water.
