Battlefield 1943

Anyone playing Battlefield 1943 on the PS3 yet?

Just saw it in the store today. Downloading the trial now, says you can unlock the full version for £9.99.

It's coming in really slow, but I'll post my thoughts when it (finally) arrives.

Oh, didn't know there was a demo. Might have a look at this then. It's €12.99 here.
 
Playing it right now. The trial is a 30 min full version. It's INCREDIBLE! Will definitely be hooked on this game for a LONG time! 😀
 
I'm very tempted to get it. I downloaded the demo last night, though I still haven't played it.

But I wonder if I really need another dedicated multiplayer game. I already have Killzone 2 (which is more than competent), TF2, Left 4 Dead (different I know), Warhawk (still has a great community), Halo, CoD 4, CoD:WaW and Battlefield Heroes (for free...). At least it's only $15.
 
I got it last night and its BF:BC with a WWII skin which is good enough for me because I loved Bad Company online. I'm never flying the planes because the control suck but the combat/guns are on point.

Good for $15.00.

Is the 30min lockdown the only limit to the demo ? Can demo players play against full version player ? If so as I only play online in rare instances these days (to the point where yesterday I cancelled xbox live gold membership, first time since Dec 05) I'll probably just keep the demo. 😉
 
I was a diehard fan of BF1942 so buying this was a no-brainer for me. It's 1942 with an upgraded graphics engine. Well worth $15.

The game is only playable online and the demo lets you play in full, but just for thirty minutes.

The game is solid. So many vehicles and great weaponry. I never have much interest in the campaign section of games so this was an easy purchase for me as I primarily play online.

I am currently playing on Xbox and I am having lots of fun.

However I'm sure it would be even better with team players from the MR forums !

Amazing game. I cannot give the gameplay high enough praise. It really is one of the greats for the PC community at least. But I don't think the controls, particularly for vehicles have crossed over very well, and so I've started to think I've just wasted £10. But I'll give it a few more hours playtime and see what I say then!
 
Is anyone still playing Battlefield??

I was thiking of buying it but i can't seem to find out how to tell if people are still playing it??
