Anyone using the Mini with a Panasonic Plasma V10?

T think the V10 only had a couple of non-HDMI inputs. So you have to use one of those or get a digital audio + DVI to HDMI adapter: http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10114&cs_id=1011405&p_id=5369&seq=1&format=2
There is also the PC (VGA) connector. Both are (according to documentation) able to support 1080p. Your connector seems OK for sound (thanks!), but sound is not my concern now.
Simply, I want to know if someone tried to connect a Mini (2009) to this TV (Panasonic TX-P42V10) and got true 1080p with no unexpected nuisances.

Forget the VGA input. Why would you want the video from your Mac mini to have to go through a digital>analogue>digital conversion? Keep it pure digital all the way with a DVI>HDMI cable.
FWIW, I'm using a 2009 mini in full 1080p with the previous-generation Panasonic 42" plasma, and it works like a charm. All I needed to do to ensure that the desktop filled the screen properly was to have overscan switched off on the TV, but on on the Mac. I would imagine that the current-gen Panasonics are the same.
Thank you AVR2. I'll follow the HDMI suggestion. In fact I already bought the adapter. Anyway, I got it today with the VGA and I must admit that the quality it is not that bad... not bad at all.

No, not sure at all. I downloaded the Panasonic manuals and the information there is confusing. In fact, contradictory.
Well, not much of an issue, the HDMI will support 1080p.
I already ordered the V10. But it is heavily backordered in Europe, so it will take a couple of weeks to get it. Let's hope for the best.

Just for the record, I saw reports from happy owners that the V10 and the Mini work perfectly well together.
