so the surprising price of MBA in the bookstore in UW is 999 bucks!!!

the price is such incredible!!!

All i wonder is whether i can watch a 1080p movies in that stunning product??

To the OP.. Most of the threads here and other sites suggest you use Coolbook to regulate the voltage and help the MBA with HD video. From my past experience with the Rev B of MBA's it was possible to watch HD but the fans would kick in and drown out the sound so you were forced to use headphones or have an external set of speakers for sound. MBA by itself is not the ideal "video watching" machine.

It should play moderate bit rate 1080p fine. It'll have trouble with high bit rate files, though. To maximize your experience, use Plex or XBMC, which use the most efficient playback algorithm (ffmpeg). Quicktime can be problematic for 1080p content.
