Hey,

Did a search and couldn't find anything.

I recently upgraded my 2G iPhone to a new 3GS.

I want to give my girlfriend my old iphone. She is on a separate plan with her famiily.

However, I have restored the phone but the activation remains. How do I activate the iphone with her new number to get it on her family plan??

Thanks!
Derek

Take your SIM card out, put her SIM card in and the activate.

You might have to get a new SIM card for her.

Won't she definitely need a new SIM given that her phone wasnt an iPhone?

I thought you can use the iPhone SIM in other phones but not other phones' SIMs in the iPhone.

Is there a way to transfer her account info to the current SIM that was previously associated to my account?
