Hi all, Mac noob here. (I copied this from the hack section - posted in wrong place I think).
I know this is probably a dumb question but here goes... I have an unlocked 3.0 iPhone. This was unlocked on an XP machine. I have just got a brand new Macbook Pro - naturally this has just completed an update to iTunes 8.2 (23). I have the fear that it will somehow lock when I transfer everything over to the Macbook - please tell me I am being paranoid!! ![]() I am emigrating next week and really do need the phone to remain unlocked! Thanks for any assistance in advance. Apologies if posted in wrong area. |

Provided you don't allow iTunes to do any firmware updates you will be OK.
(If at any point you have to restore it, make sure you restore to 3.0, not to the forthcoming 3.1 update. You can re-unlock it provided you don't go past 3.0.) |
