why is my iphone using itunes photos as wallpaper

I just picked up my phone from sleep mode and the wallpaper is different everytime I unlock it. Is there a setting I chose by mistake?
 
I'm assuming that your iPhone is not jailbroken.

Maybe you have the free "Backgrounds" app or a similar app installed that changes the wallpaper?
 
By iTunes photos, do you mean album covers? Perhaps it's playing through your music with the volume all the way down.
