Geo Tagging not working on Iphone 3g

hey guys,

i recently got myself an used iphone 3g. its jailbroken und unlocked. The camera app doesn't even ask if its allowed to use my location and Iphoto 09 doesn't show any location information. Mobile Navigator and all the other features using gps work fine. (yes it is turned on in settings)


Any advice ?

the camera now asks for 1 permission until reset the location warning again but iphoto still doesn't show the location
