People say that Macs run faster then Intel PCs. If I have a 1.25Ghz G4, how many Ghz would a P4 have that runs at the same speed? 😕 😕 😕

It's not as simple as that, it depends on what your trying to do, what program you're running, it's optimizations etc.

I would say your 1.25 GHz G4 is equivalent to a 2-2.2 GHz Pentium 4 at most. That is assuming you have the same speed RAM, same speed hard drive, and same video cards.

all really depends on the intels bus speed that 167MHz bus is quite limmited
