Dave Lebolt (Chief Technology Officer) leaves Digidesign/Protools for Apple

This is kind of old news from June but I have not seen any discussion of it here. Dave Lebolt, the Chief Technology Officer for Digidesign/Protools, resigned and joined Apple. Not a very encouraging sign for Digidesign and Protools. I wonder if Apple is going for the kill now?

Some more discussions and rumors in the music forums...

Digidesign are being re-branded into the Avid camp, as are all of Avid's sub brands, there's been a lot of coming and going in Digi for months, could be a part of that I guess.
