iOS Problem Switching Between Multiple Views

So basically I am trying to create a iPhone App just to switch between two views, just for my reference. It should be simple but it isn't working and I've looked at a bunch of threads and through the Apple iPhone Documentation and API Reference and still can't manage to get it to work. I attached the project so please look over the code and tell me where my mistake is. I am pretty sure it is in the "toFirstView" and "toSecondView" functions in ViewController. Thanks.
