The title basically covers my question. I'm selling my touch, and want to make sure EVERYTHING-and i mean everything-is off. That includes all of safari's history (cause I'm pretty sure I've entered credit card numbers on it, etc), and my iTunes account.

If I do the erase all content and settlngs option, will that cover EVERYTHING??

Thanks!

Yes, it will cover everything. Including the OS.

You'll have to do a DFU restore after it's done erasing your phone.

It will remove everything, but it takes a few hours. Like the previous poster said, you should do DFU Mode Restore in iTunes, it's faster too.
