hey i just ordered the 24inch iMac 2.66 ghz with the wireless keyboard and mouse. i also got the free ipod touch, printer, and apple care. i ordered this on sunday (July 26th) and the printer came today (tuesday July 28th) and the ipod touch and iMac are scheduled to come tomorrow (wednesday July 29th) which is way quicker and sooner then i expected. great job to apple for shipping everything so fast, i ordered the standard shipping also.

Congrats. Ive had mine for 2 days now and its like we're old friends. I cant believe how good OS X is. I wish I had done this earlier. Was the printer free too?
got 100$ rebate but i ordered the wireless one which was 130$ so i just gotta pay 30$

I bought mine in March 09 with the lastest update and best move I ever made. Mac OSX is great and I have an excellent machine.

make sure you get the apple care plan!
My imac is just over a year old and nothing comes up on the screen anymore. it works fine with an external monitor.

That's what I like to hear, I just bought the same machine (at least with those two specs) second-hand, picking it up tomorrow. Can't quite convey the enthusiasm I feel switching from a dinosaur of a Dell laptop to the iMac.

I got my iMac 20" 320GB HD Disk + 2.66 GHz + 2 GB RAM on Tuesday and I haven't turned on my PC since then. Unfortunately, I didn't opt for the free printer but I did get the free iPod Touch. Since I already have one - I sold the iPod on Amazon.com. Have fun with your new Mac. 😀

Not to hijack the original poster's thread, but....I've had the iMac for just under 24 hours, and while the internet in the room where I normally have it is borked at the moment, it's still quite something to own it. Who knew updating an OS and iTunes could be so much fun...😛
