Does anyone know where I can get firmware updates for the superdrive in my new Powerbook (15 inch, 1.5ghz). Not that I am going to flash it now, but maybe once out of warranty. Problem is that living in HK, DVD's on sale here tend to come from all different regions - most DVD players are region free by default.
From the system profiler, it's a Mat****a UJ-825
As a follow on - when I burn DVD's, will there be a region encoded on the disc by default?
