MacBook Pro Screenshot Problem

Hi,

I recently got a new MacBook Pro and although I have successfully used the screenshot hotkeys before to capture an image of the screen, when I tried it today it would seem to capture the image but would instead only save a photo of weird gray lines (see attached picture). I have no idea why it's happening. Anybody know what I should do to fix it?

That's seriously odd. It's almost as if the file capture is corrupt for this task.

Have you tried taking a shot of a specific window, or using the area selection tool (Apple-Shift-4)??

screenshot problem

Hi,

I have the same problem using cmd+shift 3 or 4 and when using grabber. Those worked earlier for me nicely but not any more ?
