I posted this thread maybe an hour ago and since then I have fixed the problem.

no, it wouldn't really be useful. apparently i had to delete about 500 files from 50 different folders...ugh. A brilliant waste of time. And all of those files were copies of different songs...... (<-----there's the solution)
