Dead Panic is out - a strategic zombie shooter
Hi, this is Sean / xsmasher, long time lurker and infrequent poster.
My strategic zombie shooter, "Dead Panic" , has been approved by Apple and is available now! I have some exclusive screen shots, not displayed on the Dead Panic web site: ![]() ![]() Dead Panic has a 13-level campaign with a sci-fi storyline, instant loading/saving for quick games, iPod integration, and a full soundtrack. If you like the atmosphere of Half-Life 2 and STALKER, you'll enjoy this game. If you like popping zombies in the head with a sniper rifle, you'll like this game. It's getting a lot of attention at Touch Arcade so I know that people are enjoying it, I hope you do too! I'm happy to explain anything about the production/programming of the game - I believe in giving back to the community, and have answered thousands of questions on iPhone development boards. I'm also available for podcast / blog / print interviews - I'm a full-time Independent developer with lots to say about the state of the app store, the future of the iPhone platform, and other Apple and Indie issues.

This looks good, downloading now can't wait to try it. The screenshots remind me of the old gameboy rainbow six games.

I have to say i am very impressed, this is an excellent game. Well done.
Edit: Do you have any plans for more story based ones? I'd love to see one in a more desert, post apocalyptic world (kind of like the video game fallout 3).

I am working on a skirmish / survival mode now - that doesn't have to be connected to the main storyline, so I can make whatever environments I like. I'll keep a note of your vote: apocalyptic desert!
