Ok if you have a jailbroken iPod and you go in cydia there's something called mxtube. Can you put the videos you download onto your videos section in your iPod?

No, you have to SSH to get them off. This might be an alternative option.

Just to add that there is iwoopie which lets you download from other video hosts as well, and it's in the app store 🙂

iWoopie is cool, and competes with MxTube (other then downloading in the background), but nothing so far is as good as YourTube's integration
