Hey, in this thread I would like to talk about how to make the perfect set-up. I realize that most of our set-ups are suited for our own uses, however, I have noticed a few similarities within set-ups that should be mentioned. This will avoid people buying items they are not pleased with. So to start I will list a few things that are in quite a few set-ups and I would love for the rest of the MacRumors community to add on!! (Please forgive me if I have left anything out (but its your job to list it 🙂!!) Note:everything is linked to their respective company, however, I highly recommend using google shopping to find a cheaper price on nearly all of the items

Laptop Stand of Choice- Mstand by RainDesign
Monitor of Choice: Apple Cinema Display, HP w2338, Dell Ultrasharp Monitors
Mouse of Choice: Logitech MX Revolution
Speakers of Choice: Logitech Z-5500, Logitech Z-4, Bose Companion 2/3/5
Keyboard of Choice: Apple Wireless Keyboard, Logitech diNovo Keyboard
iPhone Stand of Choice: Xtand Deluxe, iPhone 3G dock, Apple Universal Dock
Mousepad: MacPadd, Razer ExactMat/Gollasus/Destructor
Lighting: IKEA Grono, IKEA Fado, IKEA Forsa
Desk: IKEA Galant, Vika, Jonas Series
 
Cool lighting is key. Nice desk is also. Nice backgrounds on your computer, little clutter and it's nice.
