Depends on the game. If they require DirectX 10 or 11 then you are stuck at the mercy of the game being available through CiderPort.
 
so if say a fav game of mine is counter strike source. and say that game is available as a [ciderport] on a certain illegal website. would that be a good way to play?

Not knowing the quality of the game, I cannot say; even if it was legal. My experience has been mixed in terms of how well the games perform, mainly on the "working, but not well." For something like CounterStrike, I would say that it would be a problem.
 
The "best" way to run Windows games is on Windows.

For games that are not available for Mac, CrossOver Games provides the best performance, but compatibility is hit-and-miss.
 
Dont waste your time....

i tried this yesterday, and i maxed out on 25 fps on the new macbook pro 13'. on boot camp, i get 150-200 average.
