designer here, looking for suggestions for additional display for iMac 24

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a 24" display to run dualhead with my iMac 24 (04/2009). I do a lot of high resolution design work and work with photographs.

Any suggestions which aren't Apple's own 24" ACD? I can't justify the cost of that display, as stunning as it is.

Any help would be magic :D

I just asked the same wuestion. I'm deciding between this 23" Dell which is on sale for 250 and this 24" which is twice as much.

Thoughts?

I have an HP 25.5" that I got for $430. It is a sweet screen, but I am not sure how colour accurate it is for design work with it being a TN panel. :\
