step by step - clean install for snow leopard

there is too much about clean installs now on this forum... and a lot of information conflicts with other information.

can someone just have a step by step process of how to do a clean install for snow leopard below.

PLEASE no guessing, and only people who have done it please comment.

then we can just link people to this thread. after and stop all these threads

Same as any clean installation on any version of Mac OS X prior, meaning Apple's support pages on their website cover this.

Doubt they'll be covering Tiger -> SL with an Up to date disc though!

I've been looking for the same. Gave up. I'm backing up my mac now and will be cleaninstalling leopard. After that, I will upgrade to snow leopard with my clean install
