Snow Leopard how to highlight stacks
How can you enable highlighting of what you are moused over in stacks, you could do this in leopard by
defaults write com.apple.dock mouse-over-hilte-stack -boolean yes |

It should work, but if not, there is no way to do it now.

I had the same problem. Then I tried typing "hilite" instead of "hilte". It worked.

tired it on Snow Leopard and won't work, I restarted the dock maybe you need to log out, let me if it work
