Weird Linksys router and airport problems...

I have a Linksys router connected to an airport base station. I'm trying to log into the router so that I can change some ports around so that Bit Torrent will dl a little bit quicker. Using the generic html address, it just sits there... eventually giving me an error message that says that it can't connect.

I did it on my computer in my apt (which isn't connected to airport) and it worked beautifully.

Is there something that I'm missing?
