I'm trying to install a new hard drive in my macbook (2006) but when i put in the new hard drive (western digital scorpio blue 320gb) and the leopard family pack install disc that i used to upgrade to leopard, i choose english as the language and then the installation tells me "this software cannot be installed on this computer". i think my machine originally came with tiger so i dont know if i need that restore disc that came with my computer to start using this new hard drive but i dont have that with me so i really hope there is another solution.
i have a time machine backup that i want to restore so i dont even want to install leopard technically. thanks for any help.
