My 2 macs on wireless network but can't see each other

I wonder if anyone can help, I have recently bought a netgear wireless router. I got my macbook pro on my wireless network using airport and my G5 Power PC using a USB wireless adaptor.

They are both online but cannot see each other even though file sharing is enabled. i had no problems in the past when the G5 was connected to my router by ethernet and the macbook wirelessly using airport. Anybody any ideas, any help appreciated as it is a real nuisance as I need to copy some file.

an idea would be to crate a new wireless network with your macbook pro, and see if the G5 can join the network. If not then you may have to change some settings.
