hi i need some helpp
I have a ppc (powerbook g4) with leopard. Im about to purchase a mac mini, that comes with built in snow leopard, because i can't update my ppc to snow leopard. My question is, can i restore from backup on my mac mini running snow leopard using a backup file created on my ppc running leopard?

Leopard included the binaries for PowerPC and Intel. If you wanted you could boot your 2009 Mac mini into Leopard.

You just won't be able to restore the PowerBook using the backups after the installation of 10.6. You would be able to migrate the user over though.
