When you open the finder to your home folder (for example), by default you cannot scroll to the left (for higher-level folders). I read a hint recently that told how to get around this, but can't remember it. Anyone know?

There are two ways I can think of to do this. The first is to type command-[up arrow] (or choose "Enclosing folder" from the Go menu), which will take you up one directory. The second is to command-click on the window title, and then to choose a folder from the menu that appears.

The third is to add the widget for just such a thing to your finder by choosing 'View>customize toolbar'.
