Lately whenever I export a song to disk in GarageBand, it saves as a .band file, instead of the usual .mp3 format.

When I'm choosing the location to save the podcast, the file name ends in .mp3, but after it's saved it shows up as .band.

Any ideas? Thanks.

"Any ideas? Thanks."

1. Export the song to _iTunes_.

2. Convert the song to mp3 using iTunes.

3. Navigate into your iTunes library folders, drag the mp3 version of the song to the Finder, and then move it wherever you want.
