i bought a new 17" Unibody macbook pro in march and have been getting the most insane battery life when not not doing stressing tasks, maybe 7 hours on a good day but since i've updated to snow leopard, i can watch the percentage fall before my eyes.
im only using the 9400m graphics card and the screen about half brightness as normal if im trying to get the most out of it. wifi on. i'd say it drops about 1% per min and i'm getting maybe 1.5 - 2 hours out of my battery.
what went wrong? SL was supposed to improve battery life, not destroy it.
seriously un impressed. i've tried to switch graphics cards and back again to maybe reset it and tell the bios i only want the 9400m but that didn't seem to work.
only have safari open.
has anyone else noticed i super bad battery drain since SL?
