I was looking for that myself!! The problem is that i don't want to hear about last day rumours as well, as usually they tend to materialize. So i don't want to search to much for the link...iwas hoping that something was already up!

Normally, I don't even check MacRumors after the Spoiler-Free link is put up (whether it's 3 or 4 days before an event).

It just baffles me that it's barely 20 hours to the even and no link!

I do not under stand why there is no spoiler free event thread. Mac sites scrape news together every day and there's finally an event taking place and there's no spoiler-free coverage!

Also, how many +/- is PT time zone, GMT here (UK).

To find out the time just add the time remaining on the front page @ www.macrumors.com

I believe the traditional way to handle this is to use a thread like this one as the temporary spoiler-free thread, until someone at MR creates the official one (and I believe he merged the unofficial thread with it)

so, if we can get enough people who are interested and at least one dedicated link-fetcher we'll be allright

salt

I can't believe I even need to ask, this website isn't worth its salt if it doesn't provide a thread dedicated to a spoiler free audience for an annual Apple event

sammich: There's no way I'm going to go to the front page of this website

don't be such a drama queen.

We have a very dedicated Spoiler Free fanbase, we'll find a way with or without an official thread.

On another note: what do you guys think:

would it be a spoiler to know who is doing the keynote?

I'm asking this because one of the main reasons to watch these keynotes is the entertainment value and RDF provided by Steve Jobs, if he's not doing it, I don't think I'll go spoiler-free.

Normally we know who will be giving the keynote, but this time not. Would it be a spoiler to know wether or not Steve Jobs is giving it?

Lets say Steve Jobs dies today, someone else will have to take his place, people will still watch. I actually am a switcher and so don't carry the baggage you guys do, I actually watch it for their products.

I think he's good like everybody knows him for, but Apple will still be Apple when he's gone. So yes keep it all spoiler free or you'll find people will go elsewhere.

BTW: Whose the drama queen fretting over who talks?! I just don't want anything to mess up the surprise and all this should have been sorted out.

For me this would definitely qualify as spoiler. I'd be happy to see Steve on stage tonight, but I really like the presentations of Phil very much.

Spoiler free is spoiler free, you just have to post the link and that's it.

Due to the lack of an official spoiler free thread and that this was all I could find when I searched I think that we should make this the spoiler free thread. I am going to contact Voidness (the onethat has historically found the link for us) and ask if he can find and post it here.

Ok, cool guys - I'm glad others are interested. I don't know who to contact on MacRumors for a Spoiler-free link but whoever finds the person (and with a link) just paste it into the thread and I'll edit my first post and put it on top.

I'm surprised there isn't an official spoiler-free thread, because there's usually one a day before an event.

Until there's an official thread, I'm going to post the direct link here.

Good to see the usual gang all present and correct. I only really post on these forums while waiting for a keynote - usually update my sig too, lol.

it's not that early, and besides, taking it down is more about show than about technicalities

spoilers are already starting

avoid iTunes Music Store...
