It's what steeve job said in the media event today (reference : quicktime stream),

So two conclusions :

1) There will be no new ipod before christmas
2) There is a possibility of early 2010 release
 
are you talking about the tablet cause who says that it'll be labeled an ipod...regardless i don't have high hopes for a tablet this year

Yea... i Know... but many believe rumours about technical difficulty on camera touch and started discussion about october/november release.

So, after watched today event stream (in witch it's pretty clear that no new ipod this year), i decided to start this thread to clear up things...

Personal note : a evil part of myself don't want a new touch in the next year because i was unable to wait another 6 months ... (i already waited 8 months...lol... if i knew !)
 
Steve wants you to buy a new Nano. Added considerable value. Lowered price. He's hoping you'll buy a Shuffle, but knows you probably won't so all he invested in it was new colors and a slightly cheaper version.
